OK, I'm going to attempt to enter 21st century and start a blog!! In May, I met Peggy Chun, famous Hawaiian watercolor artist, while I was on vacation in Hawaii. Peggy also has ALS and her family uses a blog to share how Peggy is doing and what's new. I thought that was a great idea so............
Russell (my new son-in-law) and Erin were here this weekend and Russell set up the blog. I'll update postings weekly. Yesterday Erin and I went to Jen's bridal shower. It was a very nice shower and got to see a lot of Eric's family which is always fun and full of laughs. Highlight was meeting the newest member, 1 month old Evan. We all had dinner at Eric's later and I got to hold Evan and have him fall asleep in my lap!! Erin also held him and looked pretty natural...no pressure yet for a grandbaby, hah! BTW dinner was Eric's homemade fried chicken, rice balls, sloughhouse fresh corn, salad and cake and cheesecake for dessert. Yes, I still can eat little bites and even though it's hard and takes me a while, I love the taste and texture so I only eat what I love. For nutrition and calories I use my feeding tube and dr's formula. This morning breakfast was over at Russ and Linda's for Linda's famous waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh strawberries and melons. Food is always part of the family gathering. Erin and Russell had to leave about 4 to get back home. Erin started teaching 3rd grade August 18th. This is her 2nd year and she continues to work long days preparing lesson plans and activities. Russell is continuing his work as staff member of Invervarsity at Sonoma State. Until next time, Aloha!

What a great idea! I look forward to reading what you've been up to. However, I will share my "going on's" with you privately (some just can't be written down!) Ha!
Good morning Annette! I enjoyed hearing about your weekend - we went to Bodega for some cooler weather, a Tommy Castro concert and a walk in the sand. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Looks great! Russell, you did a fantastic job! Glad to hear the newlyweds are doing well.
Hi Annette, this is great. I am glad you had a great weekend. Anytime you spend time with family and especially babies is a great time. Yesterday we celebrated my father-in-law's bday. After getting sticky chewing on apples, Rachel and Jess gave the babies a bath in my kitchen sink. It was so fun. I will show you the pictures the next time I come over. I'll see you soon. Love, Tracy
Blogging--You are really pushing me outside my skill set. So glad to hear from you. It is obvious you are surrounded by lots of love. My family is preparing for baby Kate's 3rd birthday party this weekend. We could use your talents at putting babies to sleep with baby Cameron. Hope to have a nice visit with you soon. In the interim--keep up the great blog. Susan
Hi Annette, what a great idea! we got a Pembroke welsh Corgi on Friday. we named him Kirby. It is like having baby! Liz I
